IMAGINATION Abstract Art Exhibit
This exhibit of abstract works provides a vibrant and imaginative sensory experience. The artist’s unique styles have varying degrees of abstraction from reality. The work is created using subliminal mark making including lines, color, brush stroke, and composition. The viewer is encouraged to feel, imagine, and interpret the artwork. Informed and inspired by art history’s master painters, Plains Abstract Artists include both regionally renowned and emerging artists. The artists developed their skills and expression through years of study and practice. Many regularly paint together at Plains Art Museum’s Center for Creativity where they are led by Marjorie Schlossman.
