“Color In Motion” an Abstract Art Exhibit Featuring Plains Art Museum’s School of Abstract Painters
The abstract artwork provides a vibrant and imaginative experience. Each artist’s unique style has varying degrees of abstraction from reality. The artists create their work using a composition of lines, color, shapes, texture, brush stroke, and collage. Feel, imagine, and interpret the artwork.
The artists include regionally renowned and emerging artists. The artists develop their skills and expression through years of study and practice and are informed by art history’s master painters. They paint together at Plains Art Museum’s Center of Creativity led by abstract artist Marjorie Schlossman.
