Groundskeeping & External Operations
West Acres mall is seeking an applicant to join our External Operations Groundskeeping team. Receive competitive pay & a generous benefits package while working in a fun environment. This full-time position pays $21.00/hour with typical hours being 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional night, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed. Core Functions
- Demonstrate a culture of customer service by interacting with customers, staff, mall tenants, and vendors in a friendly, engaging, respectful, and helpful manner
- Maintain outside grounds area, including lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, sidewalk pressure washing, light concrete patching and repair, parking lot maintenance, light custodial work, equipment repairs and maintenance related to grounds work.
- Operate required equipment, including forklift, loader, truck, tractor, scissor lift, and boom lift
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Lawn maintenance or landscaping experience a plus
- Understanding of or ability to be trained on vehicle and equipment operation and landscaping techniques
- Excellent listening and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions consistent with company values
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds and walk for 100% of work shift
