With so many holiday events taking place at West Acres (and ones for the kiddos, too!), we are breaking down all the festive events you can expect this season- week by week.

Very Merry Mats & Mimosas

December 2, 11am-12:30pm

Located in Holiday Court (also known as Buffalo Court).

Burn off some of those sweets and treats with a holiday sweat sesh & shopping! Each Sunday in December, enjoy a fitness class, followed by mimosas and special discounts & giveaways at Beauteous Activewear! Yoga class cost is free (mimosas are a cash bar). Please bring your own mat. *This event is open to those ages 10+, mimosas available for those age 21+*

Santa’s Story Squad

December 4, 9:30-10am

Located in Santa’s Whimsical Wonderland (located in Center Court).

Join Santa’s Story Squad with United Way of Cass-Clay – a story time held every Tuesday in Santa’s Whimsical Wonderland. Santa will read 2 stories and afterwards, kids can enjoy a short activity before having an optional individual visit with Santa (photos available for purchase).

Tinsel Tuesdays

December 4, 5-9pm

We’re putting the joy back into holiday shopping! Join us on Tuesday evenings in December for a stress-free shopping experience, including: free coat & package check, free gift wrapping (with a $50 same day purchase – receipts required), a cash bar, live music, and more. So while we put the tinsel (wrapping) on your gifts, you can relax and enjoy a job well done! Gifts must be dropped off to be wrapped by 8pm for same-day wrapping. Gift wrapping will take place at Guest Services. Cocktails and live music will be held in Holiday Court (also known as Buffalo Court).

Holiday Beauty Bash

December 6, 6-8pm

Located in Holiday Court (also known as Buffalo Court).

Join us for a Holiday Beauty Bash for the books! Sephora and Salon by InStyle Inside JCPenney will be doing makeup and hair tutorials and one-on-one consultations to get you set for your holiday soirees. Enjoy drinks from Wild Terra Cider & Maple River Winery, a DJ, and a before and after photobooth for you and your friends! More info coming soon.

Free Family Photos

December 8, 10am-1pm

Located in Fountain Court.

Bring out your family or gather your group of friends for free photos by Kailey Louise Designs. Photos will be done on a first come, first serve basis and will include a few shots of you and your family or friends inside a fun and festive setup! Photos will be available a few days after the event, with downloading and printing rights.

Cookie Decorating

December 8, 10am-2pm

Located in Holiday Court (also known as Buffalo Court).

Join Mrs. Fields to decorate your own mini cookie cake! Cost is $5/cookie cake (decorating supplies included!). This event is open to all ages. More details to come!

Holiday Tap Fest

December 8, 12-4pm

Located in Holiday Court (also known as Buffalo Court)

Fargo Brewing Company & Wild Terra are back! Holiday Tap Fest will be held Saturdays in December. Enjoy live music and drinks in a festive atmosphere, or bring your drink into any of our stores and sip while you shop! The event is open to all ages, alcohol is available for those age 21+.

Drop-In Gift Making

December 8 & 9, 10am-9pm

Located in Make Room (in the Roger Maris Wing, next to Tip Top Tux).

Join Make Room on Saturdays & Sundays in December for drop-in gift making! Stop by during their open hours to create something special for someone on your list. Gifts start at only $10!

Holiday Classics at West Acres Cinema

November 30-December 6: Elf, Home Alone, and It’s a Wonderful Life

December 7-13: Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express, Miracle on 34th Street

Located at West Acres Cinema (4101, 17th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103).

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so West Acres Cinema wants to help you celebrate! Bring the whole family to the theater this December to see classic holiday films, back on the big screen. I create content for the West Acres social media accounts and blog, which means that I get to share the latest trends, new arrivals, and all of the incredible happenings at West Acres with the community. When I am not snapping pictures for social media or writing blog content, I love to spend time painting in my art studio, testing out new baking recipes, practicing yoga, relaxing at the lake with family and friends, or playing outside on a pair of skis or my mountain bike.
