Herberger’s ‘Close to Home’ Shop Features Local Makers

We’re all about shopping local, and supporting local entrepreneurs and makers, so when we found out about Herberger’s new ‘Close to Home’ department, we knew we had to do a special feature specifically on these amazing products that not only show off local pride, but are also made by creators in our region.

The Close to Home shop is a new initiative by Herberger’s, to add to their mix of products and gift selections, all of which are locally sourced by those in our area. We saw an awesome mix of items – everything from coasters and throw pillows, to apparel for men and women.

We first heard about this new shop within Herberger’s when the owner of Hello Lucy, a company that sells local university-branded coasters, was approached by Herberger’s while her products were being sold at the Unglued Pop-Up Shop that was here during the holidays! We are very excited to see a national retailer support our local businesses.
