All About the Limited-Time Abstract Art Exhibit at West Acres
We are proud to partner with Plains Art Museum Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity for a special limited-time exhibition showcasing recent works by 16 local abstract artists!
Art, especially local art, is one of the many passions we put on display throughout the mall. As a part of our West Acres Regional Showcase program, we are excited to showcase recent works by 16 local abstract artists from the Plains Art Museum Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity! The exhibition includes includes art by members of the Plains School of Abstract Painting which is led by one of the most prominent artists in our region, Marjorie Schlossman. The exhibition has temporarily replaced part of our permanent art collection in the food court, giving mall visitors the chance to experience and learn about abstract art!
We are thrilled to announce that the exhibition is the first of several special events at we have planned for this spring, that are specifically designed to connect our customers with local art in a fun and unique way! Additional pop-up art experiences will launch in March (we will be sharing information soon!).
An exhibit of this type is an unusual event in most malls. However, we believe in partnering with inspiring organizations and individuals, such as Plains Art Museum, to bring our community new and enriching experiences.
Visit the exhibition in the food court, now through April 14.
