This concept is something we’ve been working on for a while now and we can finally share the exciting news… Are you ready?
Introducing: The District at West Acres, a curated collection of restaurants and experiences.
Picture this: A carefully crafted collection of sit-down restaurants. A beautifully landscaped space. An inviting, modern design created especially for our community by one of the area’s best architects – Chris Hawley of CHA Architecture + Construction.
It’s a destination unlike any other.
The District will be positioned at the northeast side of the mall, taking up the remaining space (and more!) between Forever 21 and Best Buy. It is intentionally designed to create a clustering of restaurants and entertainment in a beautifully designed space, truly creating a destination. It will feature a collection of first-to-the-market, local and regional restaurants in a one-of-a-kind setting.
Design features include garage-style doors to allow for open-air customer experiences and outside access; ample patio space; fireside common areas; neighboring landscaping; art and green space; and and a fully integrated connection to shopping. We’re putting on the finishing touches with you in mind, including amenities like convenient parking and seasonal valet service, areas to host events and entertainment, and easy drop-off and pick-up options to ensure each visit to The District is convenient and enjoyable.

The CRAVE Experience
The Minneapolis-based concept features fresh and innovative cuisine, a sushi bar and an impeccable wine selection brought to life in a chic yet casual atmosphere. CRAVE will encompass a 7,000-square-foot interior space, a three-season porch, plus a sprawling patio space and outdoor bar. CRAVE will take the spaces formerly occupied by Lux Spa, Radio Shack and the current mall entrance adjacent to Forever 21. As part of CRAVE’s development, a new mall entrance will be constructed to the east of CRAVE that will serve to connect The District to West Acres.

Construction of The District and CRAVE are already underway. As a multi-phase project, the completion of the project will roll-out at different times. As part of Phase One, Crave is expected to open in Spring 2019. We are excited to bring you progress updates on the project throughout the construction process and as more restaurants join us.
